What is the difference between the Carbon Black and Hybrid Low Reflective films?

Carbon Black is the pure carbon film — a cool black look, excellent colour stability, 45% to 60% total solar energy rejected, and the thinnest film in the nanoGard range at 1.5 MIL. The Hybrid Low Reflective Series adds metallic carbon and ceramic to reach 45% to 80% TSER at 2 MIL, without blocking GPS or mobile networks. Both reject more than 99% of UV.

Does carbon film fade or turn purple?

Colour stability is the reason to choose carbon over dyed film. Dyed tints break down under UV and drift toward purple; the Clarity Series is carbon-based specifically to hold its appearance, and the data sheet measures greater than 99% UV rejection across every grade from 76% down to 1% visible light transmission.
