Ceramic Series, answered

How much heat does the Ceramic Series reject?

The Nano Ceramic Series is measured at 52% to 91% total solar energy rejected, with 80% to 92% infrared rejection and greater than 99% UV rejection, across grades from 80% down to 11% visible light transmission. The Nano Ceramic Classic Series below it runs 51% to 80% TSER with 70% to 85% infrared rejection. Both are 2.5 MIL films.

Does ceramic window film interfere with GPS or mobile signal?

No. Signal interference comes from the metal layer in metallised films, and the Ceramic Series is a non-metal construction — colour-stable, high heat rejection, no effect on GPS, satellite radio or cellular reception. If a mirror-like finish is what you are after, the Metalized Series is engineered to deliver that while still leaving signal performance intact.
